and providers in the Telecommunications and Communications industry.
We are located in NSW and is looking to grow our team. A full-time position is open for qualified Telecommunication Field Engineer to install and maintain telephone and IT solutions.
The services we are providing are
- Installation and commissioning of Telstra Core Services, Optus and Vodafone transmission utilising new 4G and 5G Wireless technologies.
- Build Microwave and Macro sites for major carrier working internal or external network elements as required.
- Technical support, Build and Test after Network build
- Working with NBN N2P and BDOD or Wideband projects and other Fibre technologies.
Job requirement
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry
- Solid hand-on experience from build to integration, troubleshooting and HOP
- Proven experience in installation and integration of Telstra, Optus and TPG Transmission and PSU Equipment
- Ability to read Network Schematics
- Knowledge in Telstra, Optus and TPG Equipment Installation Standards
- Knowledge in installing, maintaining, repairing and diagnosis malfunctions of telecommunication system
Proven experience in installation of traditional TDM and VOIP telephone systems.
- Flexibility to work outside usual business hours including weekends and nights where necessary
- Ability to Configure and integrate network and telecommunications technology with computer software, hardware, desktops, peripherals, databases and operating systems
- Ability to provide technical advice and information, and monitoring the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipment
- Ability to work with Microwave and Macro sites for major carrier working internal or external as required.
- Ability to provide ongoing operational support in designing, optimizing, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and resolving of telecommunications network performance malfunctions, defects and faults
- Proven experience in telephone systems installations.
- Ability to provide customer training on newly installed equipment.
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be proficient in Microsoft office, email, word and excel
- Ability to configure and install modems and routers to DSL and NBN services.
- Ability to IT troubleshooting and LAN/WAN networking skills
- Ability to SIP line installations and programming.
- Be physically fit
- Valid Driver’s license
