Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Technical Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will drive sales, expand our client base, promote our brand in Australia, and secure long-term contracts with both large and smaller supermarket chains. This role requires a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills, a strong technical background, and a proven track record in sales, preferably within the refrigeration industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and secure new clients within the supermarket and retail industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their specific refrigeration needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Explore new markets and business opportunities, expanding the company's presence and customer base.
- Brand Promotion:
> Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and recognition.
> Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and exhibitions to promote our products and services.
> Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of our refrigeration equipment and display cabinets.
> Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and long-term partnerships.
> Meet and exceed sales targets, continuously striving to maximize revenue and profitability.
> Possess in-depth knowledge of our products, including technical specifications, features, and benefits.
> Provide technical guidance and support to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns effectively.
> Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
> Foster strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and issues are resolved promptly.
> Regularly follow up with clients to gather feedback, identify areas for improvement, and maintain customer satisfaction.
> Act as a trusted advisor, offering continuous support and product expertise to clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- A minimum of 2 years work experience in a Technical Sales roles, preferably within the refrigeration industry.
- Strong understanding of refrigeration equipment, display cabinets, and related technologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to travel and attend industry events as required.
The successful applicant will be offered a salary between $75,000 - $85,000 + superannuation. Transport costs and accommodation allowances may be considered for the right candidate as well.
