Telecommunications Technician Traineeship

Programmed Training Services in partnership with Telstra, Australia's leading Telecommunications organisation are seeking energetic, empowered individuals who are looking at becoming leaders of the future for Telstra and the telecommunications industry.



As a trainee, you will be contributing to the growth of Telstra's fast-evolving network by constructing, operating and maintaining telecommunications equipment and infrastructure. You will also be exposed to a variety of technologies within the network including Transmission, Data & IP, Core, Radio and Mobiles.



Inherent requirements of the role include:




Ability to follow strict Occupational Health and Safety instructions and practices






Drivers License






The ability to pass a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening






Ability to undertake a police check






Professional and polite communication






Enjoy working in a team environment






Positive attitude and safety-first approach






Be technically minded




You will be rewarded with:




Nationally Recognised Qualification - Certificate III/IV in Telecommunications






2 Year Traineeship






Full-time fixed term employment






Paid full-time wages






4 weeks annual leave per year






Safety (PPE) equipment, tools and uniforms are provided






On-going coaching, support and mentoring from qualified professionals




This traineeship opportunity commences 29th January 2024.



You may be eligible to receive a total of $5,000 in Government incentives under the Australian Apprenticeships Incentive System
