About the Role:

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will play a central role in defining and configuring market-ready products for our Modern Banking Platform (MBP). Your work will involve creating and maintaining a model bank/launchpad that can be utilized by implementation, sales, and training teams. You will also perform preliminary testing, verify product documentation, and provide release updates to key stakeholder teams.

About the Team:

Our Next Gen Banking product management team is a global team dedicated to delivering a modern, componentized core banking platform. They specialize in end-to-end processes such as deposit and loan processing, customer management, operational reporting, and the banking ecosystem.

What You Will Be Doing:

In this role, you will collaborate with local Product Teams and global colleagues to configure market-ready products within the Modern Banking Platform core banking application. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Configuring standard deposit and lending products for international markets
  • Performing preliminary testing to ensure correct product configuration
  • Drafting and communicating new features and configurations for each release
  • Creating documentation supporting configuration use cases specific to regions or countries
  • Creating detailed use case documentation and technical design documents
  • Working closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of technical requirements
  • Managing timelines and deliverables to ensure on-time and within budget delivery
What You Will Need:
  • At least 5 years of banking knowledge with emphasis on core banking products for the New Zealand/Australian market
  • Sound experience in a technically focused Business Analyst role/Product Owner role
  • Understanding of core banking implementations and implementation processes
  • Experience working in large and complex organizations with enterprise software
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels
