Working as part of our Journey Beyond Group, you will play an integral role in supporting our business to share special places and shape lasting memories.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We have a rare opportunity for an Online Travel Agent (OTA) Business Development Manager to join our National Sales & Partnerships Team.

 

This role is focused on managing Journey Beyond’s OTA accounts to generate ongoing revenue growth for the entire Journey Beyond portfolio. You will work closely with existing and new accounts to streamline online booking functionality, drive sales and create brand awareness through strategic sales planning, cross-functional marketing activities and relationship building.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and driving the OTA channel strategy for all Journey Beyond brands
  • Maintaining relationships with key OTA accounts to grow sales and enrichen relationships
  • Developing a deep understanding of our product proposition with partners
  • Manage Journey Beyond products and rates in OTA portals
  • Assisting with trouble shooting and API integration
  • Generating leads and onboarding new accounts
  • Using data-derived decision making to provide insights into product and pricing strategy
  • Develop an OTA campaign calendar to align key partner marketing activities with the Journey Beyond marketing schematic
  • Reporting on ROI for campaigns and offers
  • Following industry trends locally and internationally
  • Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders

 

This is a full-time position, based in either Sydney or Adelaide.

ABOUT YOU:

Ideally, you will have sales experience in the tourism and/or experience industry with an e-commerce background.  You will have the ability to negotiate pricing, campaigns and can identify and secure sales opportunities easily, in fact – you thrive on it! You are extremely tech savvy, well organised, and methodical with the skills to match market demand to supply. You have strong verbal and written communication skills and enjoying presenting to clients.
