Whether you are looking for short term roles or to work on long term projects then joining the AWX Team is the right move for you.About the role:• Soft scaping duties such as mulching, soiling, planting, turfing, weeding.• Landscape maintenance work including brush cutting and mowing.• Hard scape tasks including retaining walls, footpaths, concreting and concrete prep.• Projects based in Palmview• 3-6 month job with view to perm• Pay rate in line with previous experience and licenses.• Work for one of the Coasts leading landscaping companies. Qualifications & experienceMust have proven experience working in the gardening and/or landscaping industry.Must have reliable references.Landscaping/horticulture CERT will be an advantage.Must have a driving licence and own reliable transportation.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.A team player who can also work independently.Tasks & responsibilitiesTeam Leader Role: Will include reading plans, setting out daily tasks, Monitoring the machinery on site along with the staffLandscaping role: Fencing, Installation of garden edges and retaining walls, building new gardens and lawns, installation of astroturf, decking, paving, and more.The role may include supporting the gardening maintenance team with the following tasks: Mowing, whipper snipping, hedge trimming, garden cleanups, weeding, planting, etc.Must be able to work Monday-Friday, including during the hot summer days.To Apply please click Apply
