Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Injury Management Specialist Location: Newcastle Type: Full Time, 12 month Fixed Term Contract The opportunity It's an exciting time to be joining QBE's Managed Fund Claims (Worker's Compensation). With solidified relationships and growth, our Treasury Managed Funds business is looking for an Injury Management Specialist to support our agencies and continue our high-quality service offering. Working on a diverse portfolio, our Injury Management Specialists provide crucial coaching and support to our Case Managers and Stakeholders. Your new role Provide proactive, expert injury management advice to claims staff and customers. Identify opportunities to review, develop and modify processes, procedures, standards, and guidelines in line with best practice. Comply with regulatory and legislative requirements relevant to medical and injury management intervention. Contribution to the preparation of training and policy material relating to injury, treatment, and medical management best practices. Support your team and wider business to uplift capability through means of training and coaching. About you Extensive experience in a workers' compensation claims role or"similar"role" Experience in Allied Health, Clinical, supervisory and/or workplace-based rehabilitation experience Tertiary qualifications in medical, health or a related area Broad knowledge of workers compensation laws and compliance obligations with a core focus on legislative knowledge and work capacity decisions Demonstrated experience in supporting Case Manager coaching, decision making and technical claims management. Excellent people, communication, written, and networking skills. A person-centred approach to customer service and people management.
