Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Senior Manager, Risk Culture The opportunity Join a dynamic, high-performing team Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane Permanent, Full-Time Your new role The Senior Manager, Risk Culture plays a pivotal role in helping to deliver direction and coordination of QBE's risk culture. As part of the Risk team, you will be responsible for supporting the strategic development and leading implementation of the approach to understanding, evaluating and improving risk culture in AUSPAC. This includes working with, and influencing senior stakeholders within AUSPAC to help identify and deliver risk culture insights enabling and supporting AUSPAC leadership teams to make meaningful change within their functions. This role will require regular engagement with line one and line two risk colleagues to lead risk culture initiatives across the enterprise. The role provides strategic guidance, thought leadership and better practice in relation to risk culture. The role Is central to translating the governance and frameworks of risk culture into practical application for reporting, delivery of insights and execution of initiatives to strengthen the risk culture in AUSPAC. Additional Responsibilities: Implement and maintain an approach to framing risk culture for AUSPAC, including evaluation and strategic initiatives to strengthen the risk culture Lead and identify the delivery of risk culture insights enabling leadership teams to make meaningful change within their functions Influence senior stakeholders in taking of specific and thematic actions to create a demonstrable improvement in risk culture (deep dive analysis) Actively support, and lead as required, projects associated with internal and external reviews of risk culture (APRA reviews) Recommend, implement and support initiatives that help the longer-term effectiveness of understanding and improving risk culture, integrated with overall culture programs of work where appropriate Provide practical, constructive feedback to Group across the management and approach to risk culture frameworks, evaluation and initiatives Educate and raise awareness across the business on risk culture through innovative and better practice initiatives Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements as they relate to risk culture About you Your background will include people leadership capabilities, strong interpersonal skills in establishing relationships with senior stakeholders, as well as effective time management to meet deadlines. In addition, you will have strong influencing skills, a passion for implementing and maintaining initiatives that drive change within risk culture, the ability to form insights, with at least 8 years' experience in a People and Culture, HR Business Partner or Management Consultant role, within the financial services or insurance industry.
