We have been making software for our customers since 1999 — which was originally an on-premises application but now a pure cloud SaaS product built on Microsoft Azure cloud technologies. We’re currently the preferred software for our industry in Australia with over 12,000 users in our community. We have been growing that community globally, and have an office and teammates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Christchurch as well as the UK with new customers on five continents. 

ABOUT THE ROLE 

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Development Representatives to join our Australian sales team in our North Sydney offices in a hybrid role. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a critical role in identifying and qualifying potential customers for our products and services.  With a business culture and team environment that has our customers’ interests at the core of everything we do, we’ll set you up for success by providing a comprehensive induction and onboarding into the business, including training on positioning our products and services. 

In this role, the successful person will: 

  • Be responsible for reaching out to potential customers through a variety of channels, including email, phone, and social media, in order to generate interest and set up meetings for our sales team 
  • Identify potential new customers through various sales techniques, focusing on outbound calls, email campaigns, social selling, and other channels in-line with strategy and goals 
  • Contribute to new talk tracks and sequences to engage audiences 
  • Qualify leads and set appointments for the sales team Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential customers  
  • Maintain and update accurate records of all sales activities in our CRM system 
  • Contribute insights for sales and marketing strategies to develop and execute targeted sales campaigns 
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets 
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity  
  • Strive to continuously contribute to improving the sales process and demonstrate a willingness to learn and implement best practices     
  • Track all opportunity and customer details including use case, purchase time frames, next steps, and forecasting in CRM resulting in quality data and current pipeline forecasts
