Reporting to the Managing Director, Business Development EMEA and Asia in London, we are looking for someone to join the team in a leadership role to help support our business development activities in Australia. Key Responsibilities include the following:
- Developing business with asset managers and asset owners across all aspects of asset servicing including fund administration, loan administration, custody, outsourcing, FX Overlay, banking & payments.
- Working independently & owning the sales cycle from lead generation to closure of deals.
- Create a prospect list and develop strategies to effectively engage those prospects.
- Efficient use of Salesforce - log prospective clients, key influencers and logging of meeting notes.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products and new products.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in Industry & Professional bodies.
- Gather market insights and work closely with Product Development to ensure our offering is market leading.
- Communicate and collaborate with Line of Business Heads, Marketing and Operations team members.
- Contribute to the team effort and work on special projects
