Limestone Building Block Company is a well-known and respected manufacturer of reliable and quality reconstituted limestone block products to the Western Australian commercial and industrial market.
Limestone Building Block Company boasts the largest manufacturing capacity in the industry and has a strong foothold in the WA market offering an extensive range of quality products.
The reconstituted block industry is currently experiencing unprecedented demand for reconstituted stone products. This has resulted in our advertisement seeking a experienced and suitable operator who is ready to join our company and “hit the ground running” to ensure we can meet the market demand for our products.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Batch Plant Operation including setting and adjustment Omron Smart/Moeller Smart or similar PLC to achieve required product mix design.
- Calibration and adjustment of the PLC to match climate and weather conditions throughout the day to minimize wastage and achieve maximum production results
- Operation of Coote Finlay F44s Block Making Production Machine.
- Experience with Alen Bradley SLC500 PLC or Micrologix PLC automation to achieve required product mix design.
- Setting production parameters within Finlay PLC to achieve desired mix design for various products as required.
- Calibration and adjustment of Finlay F44s to ensure correct product size and height are achieved.
- F44s block layer mould setting and adjustment
- Control of production parameters and processes
- Perform quality checks of products and materials
- Recording of daily production volumes to compare applicable daily batch records
- Perform calibration and setup of associated manufacturing equipment such as cement silos, aggregate bins etc.
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace
The minimum work experience for this position are:
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
The requirements for this position are:
- Demonstrated understanding of Occupational Health and Safety in the workplace
- Strong work ethic with a high attention to detail
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problems solving skills
- Strong understanding of the production process
- Sound knowledge of the production planning process
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
Remuneration
$71,136.00 per annum plus superannuation .
