Due to continued growth, increased production and expansion plans we are currently seeking trade qualified Industrial Mechanical Fitter for a permanent factory role.
Job Description
• Organize and/or provide equipment troubleshooting and repair.
• Read and understand hydraulic, electronic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings, diagrams and technical specifications.
• Manage general maintenance of machines maintaining good relationship with machine supplier.
• Provide general maintenance to workstations power, pneumatic & hand tools and equipment.
• Maintain CNC machinery, manual machines, conveyor tables, if required install and commission.
• Maintain auxiliary systems to production line including dust extraction systems, vacuum lifting systems, material handling systems, if required install and commission.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and reinforce critical spare parts store and inventory.
• Participation to CAPEX decision about equipment use, maintenance, modification.
• Design, procure, install, and integrate custom manufacturing equipment.
• Participate and provide equipment/mechanical solution to best production results.
• Use manual mill & lathe as required.
• Welding repairs.
• Calibrating machinery.
• Planned & preventative maintenance.
Requirements
• Trade qualification
• Ability to work under pressure in machine breakdown scenarios.
• Experience as a maintenance fitter, industrial mechanic, or industrial mechanical fitter
• Maintain electronic maintenance records using a computer.
• Fluent German speaker desirable to communicate with vendors and read some specifications and GUI's
• Ability to research problems and find solutions online using initiative
• Ability to work independently
• Team player with production staff essential
