Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager - Plastic Recycling (Manufacturing)
$120,000 Package (base salary $100,000 plus super and non-monetary benefit $20,000 (accommodation)
Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to fill the position of Senior Business Development Manager for our plastic recycling center. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15+ years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing and recycling industry, with a deep understanding of international trade dynamics and the intricacies involved in transforming plastic waste into high-quality recycled resin.
Responsibilities:
International Business Development:
• Develop and execute strategies to expand our plastic recycling business globally.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with international partners, distributors, and clients.
• Navigate international regulations and trade policies to facilitate smooth cross-border transactions.
Industry Expertise:
• Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies within the plastic recycling sector.
• Provide expert guidance on the optimization of plastic recycling processes, ensuring efficiency and sustainability.
Product Knowledge:
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of the plastic recycling lifecycle, from collection and sorting to processing and manufacturing of recycled plastic resin.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the production of high-quality recycled resin that meets industry standards.
Networking and Relationship Management:
• Leverage existing industry contacts and establish new relationships to enhance business development opportunities.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and events to promote our plastic recycling capabilities.
Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.
Entrepreneurial Experience:
• Ideally, have experience owning and operating a business in the manufacturing or recycling sector.
• Demonstrate a track record of successful business ownership or high-level leadership within a major corporation.
Required Skills:
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing and recycling industry, with a focus on plastic recycling.
• Proven experience in international business development and trade.
