Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computer Network and Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Computer Network and Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing our organization's computer networks and systems. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless operation and security of our IT infrastructure, enabling our company to achieve its technology goals efficiently and securely.

Responsibilities:
• Design, configure, and deploy robust and scalable computer networks, including Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), and wireless networks, to meet the organization's requirements and industry best practices.
• Administer, monitor, and maintain the company's server infrastructure, including both physical and virtual servers, to ensure optimal performance, availability, and reliability.
• Implement and maintain comprehensive network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and secure access controls, to protect the organization's data and systems from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
• Diagnose and resolve complex network and systems issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to business operations.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and potential improvements to optimize network efficiency and ensure smooth data flow.
• Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and technology refresh cycles to keep the infrastructure up-to-date and capable of meeting growing business demands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, IT support, and management, to understand business needs and provide technical solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations, system setups, troubleshooting procedures, and other relevant information. Prepare regular reports on network performance, security, and maintenance activities.
• Implement and maintain robust data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability in case of any unforeseen incidents.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in networking and systems technologies, evaluate their potential benefits, and propose innovative solutions to enhance the organization's infrastructure.
• Perform preventative maintenance on Data Centre according to schedule and ensure effective working of mechanical building systems.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of experience on a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, MCSE) are advantageous.
• Proven experience as a Network and Systems Engineer, demonstrating successful design, implementation, and management of complex IT infrastructures.
• Proficiency in network protocols, topologies, and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.) and experience with Cisco, Juniper, or other major network equipment vendors.
• Strong knowledge of server administration, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with network security principles and practices, including firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Permanent Residents (PR), Australian / Citizens are eligible to apply Job Type: Full-time Salary: $80,000 to $130,000 per year (inclusive of super)
