Economic Investment and Transition OfficerFixed Term Full Time – until April 2025Band 6: $91,663.12 - $99,412.18Department: Economic Investment and TransitionThe RoleAs the Economic Investment and Transition Officer you will be responsible for promoting the Latrobe City economy, its products and services, pursing opportunities to promote the City as a location to live, work, visit and invest and assisting in the promotion, co-ordination and fostering of relationships between people and business of this municipality and other nations.You will also be involved in facilitating the expansion of the regions sustainable employment capacity by attracting investment, generating enhanced infrastructure development and supporting business retention and development. Two key focus areas are the activation of the Gippsland Logistics Precinct and the development of Advanced Air Mobility at the Latrobe Regional Airport.The role also encompasses liaison with our Sister Cities in Takasago, Japan and Taizhou, China.You will need:Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline with some relevant experience, or alternatively, understanding…
