Fault location finding, resolution and restoration Reading and understanding network plans and drawings. Installation of equipment on premises, cabling and activation of NTD Cross connecting frame and FTTN nodes Customer service skills, working with the end user Testing and Commissioning of links as per customer requirements. Knowledge of Cable Hauling Practices and Procedures. Knowledge of the Telstra and NBNco external and internal Plant environment is desirable Knowledge of multiple Carrier Optical Fibre Networks desirable Qualification & Experience Minimum 4 years+ experience working with cabling or electrical trades or equivalent Experience in the telecommunications industry working in live carrier networks Open cablers license Construction Industry Induction (White Card) High Risk (HR) license Current drivers license First Aid (CPR) Confined Space ticket NBN enabled Must have excellent communication skills About Company Langalow Pty Ltd (ABN 98 091 954 273) has been assisting with the rollout and maintenance of the NBNco network in NT for the past 8 years.
