Role: Carpenter/Builder
Classification: Building and Construction General On-Site Award MA000020 Level 1 CW/ECW1
Rate: 40,000-60,000AUD/year
Ongoing position: (6 months or more full time)
Open Vacancy: 6
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday. 38 hrs minimum/week. Potential overtime available.
Approximate Start date - Mid-May 2024
Duties:
- Assist to Build, erect, install, and repair forms, structures, and other fixtures made from wood and other materials as needed to assist with various types of construction projects when supervised
- Making measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
- Cutting, shaping and smoothing lumber and other material according to measurements
- Adhere to WHS guidelines
- Ability to work within a team environment and supervised
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Sound communication skills
