Tamborrine Cheese is now looking for an experienced Production Manager (Manufacturing) to join their team.
The right candidate will be responsible for:
Oversee production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, tradition, and safety standards are met.
Lead to excellence and supervise production teams, including hiring, training, and evaluating staff.
Develop production schedules and coordinate workflow to meet targets and customer demand.
Monitor production costs
Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance to create a safe working environment.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement lean manufacturing principles.
Liaise with other departments, and communicate performance updates to stakeholders.
Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure that cheese products meet the required standards and specifications. This includes overseeing the testing of raw materials, monitoring production processes, and conducting final product inspections
Oversee all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure the production of high-quality cheese products in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner;
About you:
At least 2 years of experience as a Production Manager in Manufacturing;
Strong organisational and managerial skills;
Understanding of cheese production processes, including cheese making, curdling, fermentation, pressing, aging, and packaging;
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in product quality and production processes;
Understanding of regulatory requirements related to food production, health, safety, and environmental regulations;
