Job Title: Building Surveyor
Location: South East Melbourne

Salary: $120k- $140k Car Super
Our client, a local Council is seeking a Building Surveyor to join their high performing team. This Surveyor will report to the Deputy Municipal Building Surveyor, and requires liaising with the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors and Victorian Building Authority.
About the role:
The Building Surveyor will:
Assist with enquires and applications and ensure that staff administers the relevant Acts, Regulations and Codes applicable to those applications
Lead building inspectors and technical staff in particular on legislation and resolve issues as they arise
Plan, co-ordinate and prioritise performance and delivery of work
Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external customers
Maintain an accurate electronic register of Enforcement matters, inspections conducted and report monthly
