Lucan Engineering are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team in Lidcombe.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
• Assemble and install mechanical systems
• Collect and analyse date related to mechanical engineering jobs.
• Draw, design, plan and implement mechanical aspects of technology or other products
• Assist in preparing conventional and computer-assisted design (CAD) engineering designs, drawings and specifications
• Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
• Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures for use in manufacturing processes
• Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
• Participate in the installation, repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related
- A minimum of three years’ experience
- The ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience
