Your role will focus on prospecting, consulting, and selling to SMEs across all industries. This is a complex and challenging role involving both transactional and longer sales-cycle/strategic deals, with a focusing on both existing client and new business.
In this role, you will learn to master more complex sales tactics, balance short term vs long term pipeline, and how to effectively source deals from a wide variety of channels.
Job tasks and responsibilities
Managing full cycle from discovery to negotiation, selling both transactional and multi-year 5 figure deals
Building pipeline with prospect companies and current clients through expansion, by setting meetings with HR/L&D and other Line of Business department leaders
Acquiring market knowledge of Udemy's and competitors
Driving value to your prospects by identifying business needs and align Udemy’s offering through a strategic evaluation
Creating and delivering accurate sales forecasts through strong pipeline management
Collaborating with the greater sales team to share best practices and innovate
Visiting clients to establish sales opportunities; setting meetings with key department leaders.
Negotiating prices, finalizing contracts, and processing orders for both quick deals and strategic sales in mid-sized companies.
Analyzing sales data, assessing market trends, and strategizing collaboratively for diverse industry clients.
Focusing on post-sale client contentment, efficiently resolving any concerns, and streamlining sales report management.
Skills required:
Relevant bachelor's degree + 2 years of experience;
B2B sales experience (SaaS preferred)
Strong writing skills, strategic thinking, ability to prospect efficiently, and strong planning skills
An ability to adapt, a willingness to learn with a growth mindset
A strong sense of team
