Kenny Constructions (Aust) Pty. Ltd. are a dynamic, mid-tier quality assured contractor with a proven track record in successfully delivering civil, structural and mine associated concrete packages since 1998. We specialise in formwork, steel-fixing and concrete placement and currently employ in excess of 300 professionals, skilled tradesmen and trade assistants.

The primary role is to develop, interpret, review, negotiate and manage contracts on behalf of Kenny Constructions (AUST) Pty Ltd

To be successful in this role you must have the following:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
2. A high level of analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills
3. The ability to deal with complex financial and budgetary situations
4. A methodical approach to planning and attentive record-keeping skills
5. To be highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks at once
6. To have an up to date understanding of legislative and compliance requirements.
7. Proficient in English
8. At least 3 years work experience in a similar role. Previous experience in the construction industry is a necessity

Ideally candidates will possess a Diploma level qualification or higher (Business and/or Construction)
Main Responsibilties

Key responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following

* Review and prepare all contract documents for execution and ensure that exchange of contracts takes place and all contracts are in place
prior to commencement of construction.
* Inform contractors and subcontractors of their rights and obligations under these contracts.
* Interprets contract provisions to help resolve claims and questions submitted by contractors.
* Monitor the progress of the construction to ensure that the construction program is progressing as per schedule.
* Monitor and document all amendments and variations to contracts as required.
* Assist and respond to enquiries concerning contractual variations, project progression and/or time related matters.
* Key support to the Project Manager, and work closely with key personnel like Engineers and site supervisors to meet the project
requirements safely and correctly.
* Liaising with subcontractors, material suppliers and trades to ensure that goals and schedules are met.
* Participate in construction progress meetings and advise senior management on initiatives to improve, compliment or add to current
processes and procedures as required
* Establish and update records of all correspondence related to contract activity.
* Assists in compiling and preparing reports for end of month accruals and estimates provided
