Luxe Form Pty Ltd. requires a full-time carpenter with appropriate experience that can follow directions and advise on all projects and contracts. Benefits This is a full-time and permanent role. The salary on offer is $70,000 - $90,000 + super, depending on experience. Task & Responsibilities Interpreting drawings and instructions from supervisors and selecting appropriate materials for the job. Preparing materials and tools on building sites. Estimating job requirements together with the supervisor. Building framework and roof, door and structures. Cutting materials, such as wood, plastic laminates, perspex, metals and others, according to drawings and required dimensions and the kind of job. Assembling together wood and form structures already shaped and cut. Repairing existing structures and being able to use nails, and other required tools and machineries. Cutting and shaping materials according to specifications and joining cut parts together to assemble required structures. Utilising hammers, tape measures, chalk lines, tin snips, nail pullers, chisels, planers, saws, drills and sanders to repair and erect structures. Using levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure Qualification & Experience Proficient in planning projects Experienced in supervising other crew members AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training or AQF Certificate IV or at least three years of relevant experience.
