Deco Hotel is looking for a highly motivated, professional, ambitious and passionate Restaurant Manager to join the Food and Beverage department. Deco Hotel is perfectly positioned in Braddon boasting 210 hotel rooms and apartments, restaurant and bar.

Experience
To be able to qualify for this role you will have:
- Diploma with a focus on hospitality, business management or customer service
- A minimum of 3+ years of operational experience in a food and beverage managerial role in a hotel setting in Australia
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with multiple departments in the hotel
- Experience with operations of breakfast, buffet, bar and coffee services is preferred
- Outstanding communication skills to deal with both colleagues and clients/ customers
- Passion for hospitality and customer service
- High presentation standards and good time management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
- Candidates who are currently living in ACT is preferred
- Reliable, honest and self-motivated

About the role
As the Second In Charge (SIC) Restaurant Manager for all of the food outlets in the hotel, you will be working 5 days a week and you will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the high-quality service of food and beverage within Restaurant, Bar and Room Service;
- Dealing with all components that make up restaurant “guest experience” from booking and pre-ordering items through to service delivery and feedback;
- Maintaining staffing levels and wage costs/productivity;
- Hiring and training all aspect of staff of their role; building a team that works together with trust and takes responsibility for achieving the goals of the department;
- Be responsible for stock ordering for the department;
- Overseeing the operations in respect of cost, revenue and profitability of the Food and Beverage department;
- Ensuring that the venue complies with all health and safety regulations and liquor licensing laws.
- Planning and organising any special events on request.

Remuneration
We are offering a salary of: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00.
