Randstad is currently working with an industry leading organisation which delivers major construction projects domestically and internationally, it has a fantastic reputation in the industry and has exceptional relationships with its clients. Many of the projects are set in remote locations and have strict quality and completion targets that must be met. With a current project pipeline of over $150 million of work in hand, this organisation is growing rapidly and is expected to be awarded more projects in 2024. As a result of their continued success we are looking for a Electrical Design Engineer to join their team. Managing electrical systems, executing project engineering tasks, and ensuring quality assurance during installations across diverse construction sites are key responsibilities of this role. Success in this position hinges on a profound mastery of electrical engineering principles specifically tailored to construction projects. Responsibilities

Spearhead efforts towards energy efficiency and the adoption of sustainable practices in electrical installations.
Advocate for a safety-centric culture, prioritising risk assessment and prevention measures.
Exhibit strong management capabilities by overseeing the work and performance of subcontractors to ensure project success.
Employ effective time management techniques, including organising personal workload and resource allocation.

Must Possess

Possession of a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia (if obtained internationally).
A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years spent in Australia, with a focus on construction projects.
Proficiency in utilizing industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD, with a preference for proficiency in Revit PowerCad.
Demonstrated comprehension of the most recent electrical standards and safety regulations applicable in Australia.
