About the Opportunity
Due to consistent growth and success across our business, Hardchrome Sales is now seeking a Grinder/Machinist to join our well-equipped workshop located at Welshpool WA 6106.
As a Grinder/Machinist with Hardchrome Sales, you will be responsible for grinding chrome off rods and polishing them prepared for chroming. Once the job is chromed, you will grind back any oversize from the finished chroming process then polish the rod and prepare it for the customer.
To be considered for this position, you will possess;
Proven experience as a grinding operator or similar
Read drawings, interpret written and verbal work instructions
Ability to read and measure in micrometres (desirable)
Able to work afternoon shift
Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
Able to work unsupervised
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ability to problem solve with a positive 'can do' attitude.
This position will attract a wage of $38.00 to $43.00 per hour commensurate with your qualifications, experience and accomplishments.
