The Community Health and Therapy Services Team at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for an Allied Health Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis to cover periods of leave relief over the next 12 months.

Your opportunity
To work as a member of a trans-disciplinary team, delivering clinical services to consumers of Community Health and Therapy Services (CHATS) within the Mackay Hospital and Health Services, covering a range of clinical conditions, complexity and age groups.
To operate within a delegation model of care by participating in supervision and training in the use of delegated clinical tasks. The position reports operationally to the CHATS Team Leader. The team provide clinical care in person, via tele-heath and outreach throughout the Mackay Hospital
