As a Civil Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to provide technical assistance in relation to installation projects. This will include detailing, production planning, scheduling, and safety, as well as commercial and financial aspects. Job description:
-Plan and oversee the construction of steel projects, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
-Conduct site visits and surveys to assess project requirements and identify potential challenges.
-Prepare detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications using CAD software.
-Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop cost-effective and innovative solutions.
-Review and analyse project plans and drawings.
-Provide technical support and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process.
-Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure that work is completed to the required standards.
-Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to address any issues or concerns.
Qualifications/Attributes:
-Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
-Must possess at least a minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
-Must have great written and verbal communication skills.
-Must be excellent at time management to meet project deadlines.
-Must be proficient in the latest versions of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software packages.
-Must possess an understanding of business-critical scenarios in terms of site management and safety.
Salary Range: $70,000 – $80,000 p.a. excluding superannuation.
