Established in 1997, Radguy Pty Ltd T/A Paddy's Shenanigans Irish Bar has been a cherished landmark in the heart of Airlie Beach, located on Shute Harbour Rd, often referred to as the "Main Street." Originally a restaurant and bar, Paddy's has since transformed into the ultimate live music destination in North Queensland, setting the stage for unforgettable nights in this vibrant coastal town.

Daily tasks include:
Promotions & Events:
• Manage and plan promotional activities, including events, social media, etc.
• Organize and market in-house promotional events.
• Manage VIP/Hens/Bucks party enquiries and bookings.
• Maintain event calendar, manage deadlines, and budgets.
• Generate marketing materials and ideas for local events.
• Identify opportunities to grow revenue based on trends.
Maintenance & Cleanliness:
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness throughout the venue.
• Ensure hygiene and safety in the keg room.
• Maintain venue equipment and coordinate repairs.
• Ensure satisfactory completion of maintenance work.
Compliance:
• Minimize risks and hazards, comply with WHS standards.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety, fire, and building regulations.
• Maintain updated risk assessments and train staff.
• Record incidents and prepare reports.
• Act as Chief Warden in emergencies.
• Ensure professional behavior of security personnel.
• Maintain RMLV and RSA certifications.
Stock & Money:
• Manage stock and cash effectively.
• Order stock, maintain compliance with policies.
• Secure stock, money, facilities, and equipment.
• Assist with stock take.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
• Liaise with suppliers, adjust pricing.
Staffing:
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Manage staff rosters according to award and business needs.
• Train staff effectively on skills and customer service.
• Enforce policies and procedures, maintain staff discipline.
• Identify staff training needs and initiate programs.
• Conduct performance reviews and team meetings.
Operational Standards:
• Ensure timely opening and service delivery.
• Maintain high customer care standards.
• Complete operational checklists thoroughly.
• Monitor sales, margins, and expenses, take corrective actions.
• Run the venue safely and orderly, complying with licenses and regulations.
• Manage patron behavior and ensure safety.
• Handle customer inquiries and complaints.

Requirements:
1) Diploma level or equivalent qualification.
2) At least 2 years of previous management experience in the Hospitality industry, supervising and coaching staff is essential.
3) Demonstrated knowledge of the Hospitality Industry Award (General) 2010, Liquor Act 1992, RSA, Work Health and Safety Act 2011 and other relevant legislation.
4) Shown knowledge of operating systems including and not limited to, Bepoz POS, Deputy HR, Google Workplace & its different elements.
5) Qualifications:
1. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
2. Responsible Management of Licensed Venues (RMLV)
3. Liquor Manager License.
4. Approved Controller Licence

Annual salary: $85,000 + superannuation
Proposed hours of work per week: 38 hours
