The successful applicant will be a professional, with scientific knowledge or laboratory experience, and as the candidate is required to deal with clients based in Papua New Guinea, fluency in Pidgin is a necessity. About the role
As an Internal Account Manager, you will play a fundamental support role in sales, processing of client orders and ensuring timely delivery focusing on our Papua New Guinea clients. You will be responsible for selling a range of laboratory products, including chemicals, consumables and instruments. The ideal candidate will thrive using their scientific knowledge, resourceful thinking and attitude to succeed.
Key responsibilities
• Assist clients with price and availability, via phone and email, developing ongoing positive relationships
• Generate and process quotes, enter client orders
• Manage client expectations
Skills and experience
• fluency in speaking Pidgin is a necessity.
• Experience in customer services and sales
• Experience working in a laboratory or a qualification in the Sciences is highly desirable
• Positive attitude with the drive to meet targets
• Good computer skills, literate in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail
• Having the ability to work individually and as part of a team.
