Role Responsibilities:
-Reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
-Managing the Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing and payments.
-Taking ownership of the Accounts Receivable function, encompassing invoicing, payment allocation, dispute resolution, and credit control.
-Conducting reconciliation and processing of corporate cards and travel accounts.
-Fixed Assets Register maintenance.
-Performing daily bank reconciliations and balance sheet substantiation process.
-Preparing month-end reporting, conducting detailed P&L review across all divisions and performing variance analysis.
-Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Stay abreast of evolving regulatory environments and implement necessary changes to ensure compliance.
-Assisting the Finance Manager with statutory lodgements.
-Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to prepare Budget and rolling forecasts.
-Consistently reviews internal controls, operational process to identify any risks and inefficiencies, and proposes recommendations for improvement.
-Identify opportunities focused on process improvement and leveraging technology to improve reporting.
-Assisting the Payroll team with support as required.
-Undertaking additional ad hoc tasks as required.
What you will need to be successful:
-Prior exposure to payroll is essential
-Exhibits strong attention to detail.
-Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Experience in a similar, broad role would be highly regarded
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Xero and Astute Payroll
-Proven ability to communicate with key stakeholders
-You will enjoy fast paced environments and value achieving high results
-You will have demonstrated a high work calibre and ethic in your previous experience
