At OXY Pty Ltd, we design, manufacture and retail battery-powered Surface Supplied Breathing Apparatus (SSBA) under our registered brand “AirBuddy”. AirBuddy provides a lightweight, compact, and hassle-free alternative to SCUBA tanks and is typically used by recreational divers for self-guided shallow-water diving to explore reefs or by boaters to perform underwater inspections and maintenance of their yachts.

Salary: $70,000 – $80,000
Position location: 2141 Lidcombe, NSW/ 5 days a week.
Work permit: Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident).
Your deliverables and responsibilities include:
-Find market opportunities and create strategies to support business growth.
-Run growth marketing experiments to drive sales, both online and offline.
-Suggest and lead other growth initiatives, including partnerships, print, etc.
-Develop and execute email marketing campaigns to drive customer acquisition and retention.
-Analyse our sales funnel and define improvements to increase conversions.
-Optimise budget spend and channel performance based on results.
-Brainstorm and develop ideas for marketing campaigns.
-Launch and optimise paid advertising campaigns using Google ads, Meta, etc.
-Prepare marketing materials and social media content, incl. short videos and pictures.
-Evaluate emerging technologies and tools to implement into the growth strategy.
-Improve SEO, incl. technical criteria, and keyword analysis and content optimisation.
-Plan and coordinate event marketing activities, such as boat and dive shows.
-Represent the AirBuddy brand in face-to-face meetings and events.
Skills or experience required for the position:
-Master’s degree qualification in Marketing.
-3 - 5 years of experience working in growth marketing in relevant field, i.e. premium, innovative product targeting global audience on a niche market (e.g. specialised dive gear, yacht toys, electric bicycles, underwater scooters, …).
-Experience and relationships within diving and/or boating industry are highly desirable.
-A thorough understanding of diving theory, especially safety aspects is highly desirable.
-Experience in digital marketing strategies, incl. SEO, social media, email marketing, etc.
-Analysing data to improve marketing strategies and plans using Google Analytics, HotJar, etc.
-Experience with website optimisation and event-based analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, FB Pixel, etc.
-Experience in social media strategies and running campaigns on Meta, Google, YouTube, etc.
-Experience with creating and implementing content marketing strategy.
-Ability to conduct market research to find potential customers (B2C) and distributors (B2B) in key foreign markets (USA, EU, Middle East).
-Previous experience with market segmentation is vital.
-Defining and creating new sales channels.
-Experience with planning and coordination of event marketing activities.
-Quick learner, self-motivated, ambitious, and detail oriented.
-Confidence to operate in a quickly changing environment.
-Positive can-do attitude.
