Apollo Fabrication are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Civil Engineering Draftsperson to join their team in Young NSW 2594.
Core objectives include:
- Drafting Small areas (Model and drawings)
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of Shop drawings according to Company’s or Client’s standards.
- Performs Modelling with respect to Structural drawing & Architectural drawings.
- Prepares the 3D model in Tekla as per IFC drawings and Client’s requirements.
- Generates the GA drawings, Shop drawings, Erection drawings with related reports.
- Checks the Input drawings with latest revision before starting the model.
- Prepares the RFI's and update in the model as per RFIs reply by Client.
- Determines the Transportation and Erection issues after completing the model.
- Prepares Bill of Material, Title block, Template and Reports as per Client’s requirement.
- Assisting Drafting manager and Project Managers
- Document Control
- Received and send design drawings and update files on Project Folder and issue to draftee’s
- Shop drawings review and mark up queries
- Factory drafting - Update drawings, sections, dimensions, export and update NC Files and reports as required by factory staff
- Design Drafting Coordination (Emails/Correspondence)
- Attend Meetings and phone calls with clients and draftees.
- Drafting RFQs and lock in drafting company
- Send drawings to site teams.
- Issue shop drawings clients through electronic document management system e.g. Aconex & Procore (where applicable)
- Coordinate errors on drawings
- Review and respond to RFI from PGT/Draftee, update & Issue to builder
- Create new RFI's/Internal Responses check
- Update RFI register regularly and closed out RFI’s in electronic document management system e.g. Aconex & Procore (where applicable).
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Skills and Abilities:
- Diploma of Civil Construction Design, Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design or relevant
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Ideally have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified Civil Engineer
- A strong knowledge of Civil Engineering
- The ability to work in a team environment.
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience.
