We are now seeking a full time Developer Programmer to work from our Bella Vista office in support of our national client base.
The Developer Programmer will be responsible for:
· Improving improve customers’ online presence by enhancing existing platforms and functionality
· Designing, developing and testing and documenting programme code to meet customer requirements
· Supporting business growth through provision of advice to customers
Working both alone and in conjunction with our offshore team of developers, the Developer Programmer will:
· interact directly with prospects and customers to provide input and advice about proposed software development projects
· provide advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities
· provide input into financial viability of projects and assist with budget development
· write and maintain code in languages including PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript,SQL, Jquery for web-based platforms such as Laravel, Codeignitor, Yii, CakePHP, .NET, React JS to achieve customer needs
· undertake end to end testing
· prepare and maintain programming and user documentation
· develop continuous improvement and delivery strategies across projects
· identify and mitigate current and future risks that may affect the performance and security of the designed products
We require a person with:
- a Bachelor degree in IT with focus on computer science / programming
- minimum 3 – 5 years’ experience in software development in web environment
- experience in development of programmes to support online stores, Woocommerce, Shopfy, Magento, Bigcommerce, Prestashop
- experience in end to end testing of applications
- experience in development on platforms including Laravel, Codeignitor, Yii, CakePHP, .NET, React JS
- proficiency in programming in web based languages including PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript,SQL, Jquery
- strong organizational and prioritization skills
- excellent communication skills both written and oral to support customer communications
For this full-time, office-based role, we are offering a base salary of $95,000 + superannuation.
