The Company Sharp & Carter has partnered with a medium sized Australian owned organisation within a thriving industry. Off the back of strong recent performances the business is now seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their high calibre finance team.
The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Monthly financial reporting
Performing all bank reconciliations
Assist the external auditors when required
Preparation of all payments such as staff reimbursements, and petty cash
Management of Accounts payable and receivable
Ensure compliance of statutory accounts with all relevant accounting standards and legislative requirements
Help develop and implement best practice financial policies and procedures ensuring they align with group policy
Maintain open communication and ensure active collaboration across stakeholder groups
Skills and Experience
Tertiary qualified in an accounting
