Our opportunity:
We're looking for a business analyst to join our R&D team in Canberra.
This position is responsible for designing new product solutions for the automotive industry and ongoing incremental product enhancements and improvements for our existing solutions. The Business Analyst works closely with both internal and external stakeholders, sales, marketing, installations, support and development teams to design software solutions that transform the automotive industry.
The primary role of the Business Analyst is to analyze and document all the business requirements for software projects, working with stakeholders to drive project success to deliver a quality product on time. Technical analysis of these business cases is critical to the role to ensure that ROI is maximized as well as expectations and requirements are achieved. This senior role also includes mentoring colleagues, reviewing, and suggesting improvements to processes and frameworks.

Responsibilities:
- Capture requirements from stakeholders, transform into functional specifications.
- Prepare Use Cases and Business Specifications for approval.
- Perform data mapping between and to disparate systems.
- Bridge between our departments, customer and external partners with support and suggestions.
- Develop and make recommendations for business solutions that are based on sound research and presentation of alternatives.
- Communicate and coordinate with other teams, to ensure their specifications are appropriate in scope and definition.
- Providing business logic recommendations and solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Conducting impact analysis across multiple systems.
- Undertake additional duties as required, including ad-hoc and project work.

To be successful in this role:
- Knowledge of Agile Development methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, IT or a related field
- Experience in CMS, LMS, online ordering software is desirable.

Working hours: 40 hrs p.w
Salary: $75,000 – $92,000 per year
