The Defence Service Homes (DSH) Insurance Scheme is a national scheme providing home building insurance to eligible veterans, war widows and Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel. The team consists of five core business areas that include Products, Pricing and Underwriting, Sales and Policy, Claims, Marketing and Communications and Finance and Accounts. The Sales & Policy team are responsible for providing general advice to clients on their home and other insurance needs. They respond to enquiries from clients, both written and over the phone, provide quotes and sell policies for a range of general insurance products. This includes the DSH Insurance home building residential insurance policy, which is exclusively for those who have served in the Australian Defence Force.
