Vietnamese restaurant in Bendigo looking for a motivated Chef to join our team. You will be working with a very friendly and hardworking team in a nice and peaceful country side restaurant, but a central hub of Victoria Midland Region. You will be working 38-42 hours/ week, weekend and public holidays included.
Your duties will be as follow:
• Planning and designing menus with Head Chef for eating establishments
• Maintaining kitchen operating costs and liaising with suppliers
• Directing kitchen operations and managing kitchen staff
• Overseeing the food preparation, cooking and cleaning processes
• Delegating tasks and resolving issues as they arise
• Ensuring compliance with hygiene and health and safety regulations
• Liaising with the general manager to ensure operations run smoothly
• Ensuring all ingredients are fresh and meet quality standards
Salary package between $65,000 - $70,000/year plus superannuation
